Ditchling Cabin, felt like a few days away from the real world into a magical retreat. The cabin was remarkable, and the lake is emerald green adding to the mystical feeling. It’s hard to do anything but relax. We really loved our stay, and I did yoga every morning looking out across the lake to the hills. Even in winter with the frost, the outdoor hot showers and wet suits still made all the activities accessible. I didn’t think such a place could exist on our very own Sussex doorstep! The wood fired hot tub was an absolute luxury out in the stars, and the constant burning log fires really created a relaxing atmosphere in nature. The outdoor hot shower was amazing, and waking up to the lake views is a picture that will stay with me for a long time. Char and the hosts were extremely helpful and hospitable and I’ve already booked my next stay! I’ve never been anywhere quite like this before. The upstairs bed is enormous, and the two spare beds are decent sized singles. Marshmallows for the fire was a lovely touch, and all other accessories to cool were provided. Couldn’t have asked for anymore.

We recently stayed at Ditchling Cabin for a well overdue, relaxing weekend away and had the most incredible time - and so I wanted to send a quick review.
From start to finish, the experience was 10/10. Especially the kindness and hospitality shown by Char, our host, who went above and beyond to make our stay as special and comfortable as it could be. She even let me borrow her wellies for the weekend, as I turned up slightly under prepared!
Pre-arrival communication was impressive, the cabin itself was stunning - with a very warm welcome and everything you could need for a relaxing weekend away. Location was stunning, with lots of privacy and a whole lake to yourself! The bed was heavenly, with beautiful views over the lake to wake up to.
Cannot express how much of a lovely weekend we had, and we will definitely be back!

I am reluctant to write this review as I fear the cabin will get booked up! It’s already fully booked for the Summer. We had a wonderful time even though we stayed during storm Dennis! The location is perfect especially for your dog as they can roam off lead as it is fenced. The cabin inside was well equipped and had the most comfortable 8ft bed and a dreamy bath tub. We didn’t get to go on the water because of the storm which is why we really need to go back in better weather.

The photos, although amazing, do not do it justice. We were there for my husbands birthday and both instantly relaxed. It was an amazing feeling having the lake as our private playground. The details were incredible from the invigorating outside shower, the luxury of an 8ft bed, roll top bath with an incredible view. We have already booked to go back next year! A reminder of what life is about!
